The first update of GeoTools and CADPower since the V21 release is out! It is packed with a number of fixes that you asked for!
GeoTools V 21.01 Update
GT_ROWMAKER: (GeoTools -> Build -> Make Right-of-Way/Pavements/Ramps): The GT_ROWMAKER command now supports ARC objects for creating rights-of-way. You can also now type in the rights-of-way layer name rather than just select it from the list. The default name for the ROW layer was changed to RIGHT_OF_WAY instead of creating it on the current layer.
GT_BOUNDARY (GeoTools -> Build -> Create a boundary (closed polygon) around a point): The default name for the polygon layer was changed to POLYGON_BOUNDARY instead of creating it on the current layer. The object table data is now written to the polygon as well as the centroid point.Earlier, it was only written to the centroid point.
GT_IMPORTSURFACE (GeoTools -> Civil Tools -> Surfaces -> Import a TIN Surface (GeoTDTM): A couple of status messages have been added while importing a surface, so you will know exactly how long the process is going to take. Useful when the surfaces are large, and will prevent some users from canceling the command thinking that GeoTools is hanging!!

GT_SURFACEVOLUME (GeoTools -> Civil Tools -> Surfaces -> (Cut/Fill) Volume between surfaces): The GT_SURFACEVOLUME has been improved. It is now possible to specify a new surface boundary to the two surfaces that are being checked for volume difference. This feature is in beta but I believe it already works as designed. End-user testing at the user-side is on.

General:
All CADPower and GeoTools commands that create a TABLE will benefit from a huge bug fix in the TABLE generation function. Earlier, the row height was not fixed and would change as per the contents of the row. This has been fixed with a new algorithm that sets the column width and row height as per a character count technique. I thank Lee Mac Lisp for help in this area.
GT_TRIANGULATE: (GeoTools -> Civil Tools -> Surfaces-> Create TIN (Delauney triangulation) & Voronoi polygons):
The GT_TRIANGULATE command has been improved. It is now possible to specify the DTM objects using a layer filter. At the 'Select objects' prompt, there is now an option to press ENTER and select a layer name from the list. This will ensure that as per common practice, all objects from a specified layer can be easily selected for processing.
UX enhancement: GT_IMPEX (GeoTools -> Export -> Import/Export points and lines):
The GT_IMPEX dialog box - import options with Linear features
Under Import options in the CP_IMPEX command, if 'Linear features' import is selected, the import options dialog will now grey out all the settings that are not relevant to the import. This helps users to get a better understanding and clarity of the workflow, and removes any confusion that existed earlier regarding points related settings. Thank you Andrew Truckle for the feedback and inputs.
CADPower V 21.01 Update
FILTER (or CP_FILTER): (BricsCAD only) : CADPower -> Selection -> Object selection FILTER): The FILTER command in BricsCAD has been fixed. It was not filtering and detecting text strings that had a trailing or preceding white space. This is fixed now.

CP_BOUNDARY (CADPower -> Build -> Create a boundary (closed polygon) around a point): The default name for the polygon layer was changed to POLYGON_BOUNDARY instead of creating it on the current layer. The object table data is now written to the polygon as well as the centroid point. Earlier, it was only written to the centroid point.

Minor improvement: The CP_LAYERMAN command has been made consistent in its description as the 'Layer Names Manager' tool. The words 'Layer Names Editor' has been removed form the UI at all places.
