Hexagon Production Software India organized its first ever customer meet in Pune on May 21. An event that brought together all existing customers and reseller partners in the Pune region together for some serious networking and idea sharing, the gathering was inspirational and informative.
Ably led by country manager Mr. Sandeep Srivatsava and Technical head honcho Mr. Amol Mane, Hexagon clearly is a company in a hurry: to bring to the market the complete bouquet of CAM software that spans metal, stone, wood and composite materials and all forms of manufacturing processes. What makes Hexagon stand apart from the competition is their complete range of solutions under one umbrella. Each product complements the other and offers a seamless workflow of data exchange between them.
The event was sponsored by Kyocera Precision Cutting Tools, Z and ePlan, and visitors were given presentations by the Hexagon team on products, technologies and the roadmap for the future.
Lending a colorful, local & cultural touch to an otherwise boring gathering of factory guys, the organizers had the entire attendees attired in the traditional Maharashtra Pheta, a handsome headgear that is symbolic of royal power, confidence and poise.
Armed with a string of acquisitions in the past decade which spans across the technology spectrum of CAD, CAM, Manufacturing and Locational Intelligence technologies, Hexagon is marching ahead in its journey to be the undisputed leader in the engineering technology space.
This was the occasion to announce new releases and Hexagon Production Software announced the release of NCSimul and WorkNC v2020.
