The purpose of the Bricsys acquisition by Hexagon was two-fold:
1. Hexagaon gets a guaranteed a DWG platform for its add-on software.
2. Bricsys gets a marketing platform for the crucial North American market it is lacking, plus co-sales with Hexagon PPM software through its direct and non-direct sales teams.
