We are all set to rock again at the annual Bricsys conference in Paris, and we invite professionals from the BIM, 3d modeling and CAD world to come and see what the BricsCAD platform has to offer.
If you cannot make it physically, please follow us on this blog.
The Bricsys 2017 Conference is round the corner and set to happen in Paris on October 24th and 25th of this month. The first day is a closed door session - for the reseller and developer partner network. On 25th October, Bricsys management will show-case to the world all that has been brewing in the last 12 months.
V18 of BricsCAD is perhaps the most awaited release ever and closes the gap significantly between what users asked, and what Bricsys delivered. I have seen the beta release couple of days back and am very positive about what I see in the new version.
Being part of the reseller network, we interact with BricsCAD users every day, and know that the road to complete satisfaction is never ending. But V18 promises to be a significant leap to new levels higher. Team Bricsys India, led by DesignSense will be there in full force with a few of our resellers also participating.
It has been a momentous year for us here at DesignSense and we added a significant number of new customers this year who migrated their design platform to BricsCAD and are successfully using it for mission critical design and production.
The proof of the maturity lies in the fact that we have more users now realizing the benefits of being on the latest version and upgrading or renewing their subscriptions on time.
This conference promises to exude a lot of optimism and hope in the evolution of BricsCAD into a mature BIM & 3D Design platform. The fact that all of your design data is stored primarily in the .dwg format is a testimony to the strength and extensibility of the .dwg format.
All of this would not have been possible but for the aggressive progress made by the Open Design Alliance (ODA), keeping the .dwg format development in full throttle. Significant progress made by ODA in Civil 3D DWG extensions is also going to benefit a lot of BricsCAD users in V18.
Information about the Bricsys conference is here at the conference page.
Hexagon PPM (formerly Intergraph Process, Power and Marine) made big news earlier this year when they ported their CADWorx & GT Strudl software on the BricsCAD platform. Along with Redway 3D, they are the sponsors of the Bricsys conference this year.
Following the conference, Bricsys is organizing an in-depth classroom training on V18 for its partners in its HQ @ Gent, Belgium on October 30 and 31, 2017.
I am going to be in Europe from Oct 18 to 27th, and my trip takes me deep into the mines of the Istrian peninsula in Croatia for 4 days and then to Paris for the conference. I look forward to blogging the conference live and meeting all of my friends from the Bricsys ecosystem.
See you all in Paris!!
