A new beginning has been made. In the first of our joint presentations last Saturday, Bricsys Malaysia, represented by Applied Graphics Sdn. Bhd. and Bricsys India, represented by DesignSense Software made a joint presentation of BricsCAD + CADPower software to over 50 members of the Institution of Engineers, Perak Chapter, Malaysia.

Perak is a state in the north-west of peninsular Malaysia. Ipoh is its capital. Our Bricsys partner in Malaysia, Mr. Arthur Gan, has been busy this year reaching out to academia and professional institutes / governing bodies to spread word about the BricsCAD brand. He represents DesignSense in Malasyia. In a successful first this time, we jointly did a presentation of BricsCAD and CADPower to invited members of IEM, Perak. It was an interesting interaction telling the audience what a .dwg platform could do, when driven by BricsCAD. And the gaps must be filled. You need to have your personal programmer around to fine-tune your BricsCAD. CADPower software as a must-have add-on for enhanced productivity for the general BricsCAD user.

As more and more users now requesting simple but time-saving tasks to speed up their drawings, productivity software is the one most under-rated software that you must consider using for your CAD software. The need for a personal assistant for BricsCAD is growing. That is where CADPower fits in as a highly advanced version of Express Tools, that does 10x more stuff that users did not even knew they needed or could benefit from.
Setting up an joint interaction like this required some effort. Arthur had to wake up at 5AM, travel 3 hours to reach the destination at Ipoh. I had to wake up early, to sync with Malaysian time, and reach office to join the event. It was all worth it. We have been able to deliver the right pitch to a motley group of engineers from several backgrounds and expectations. Building the BricsCAD brand is a slow and laborious exercise. When the efforts translate into business, it is payback time. It is amazing to see the efforts being put in by Bricsys partners across the world to promote BricsCAD in their respective countries.
