After the lunch break and before the Meet & Greet hour, Erik de Keyser, CEO of Bricsys started off the Developer Session by introducing about BSB (BricsCAD Service Build), which he described as a kind of OEM version of BricsCAD. More details on it in another post as I have been unable to capture the finer details and pictures because of hardware malfunction. Next up, it was Bricsys CTO Luc de Batseliar and other techie guys of Bricsys telling us some the new features and improvements in Bricsys API.
Luc de Batseliar on stage, sets the stage for Bricsys API presentations
Mathias Everaert starts off with stuff about Chapoo and its tight integration with BIM, even at the API level
It is BIM, BIM, BIM every-where and how Chapoo integrates with it to provide a water-tight cloud service
Unfortunately, my laptop power adaptor got burnt during this session and I have been unable to blog this session with as much detail as I would have like to. I was without a laptop for 3 hours before a replacement was obtained from CONRAD Electronics store, some 3 km away. I appreciate the help from Bricsys & BMW Welt staff to help arrange the replacement in quick time.
