After the coffee break, Dmitry Ushakov, CEO, Bricsys Russia is now on stage telling us about new features in Variational Direct Modeling as well as take us through a trip through the historical evolution of modeling technologies in BricsCAD through the years. Without getting into all the technical details of the new tools and their abilities, I would like to summarize from watching the demo that modeling a 3d solid the way you want looks like such a breeze that it is that as simple like holding a block of plasticene solid and moulding it using your fingers but with accurate dimensioning.
