After the coffee break, we have Belgium-based LVD group on the podium with whom Bricsys works closely to build their Sheet Metal software.
LVD is talking about their activities, geographical spread and demonstrated several videos about each of their process machinery, and their range of operations in sheet metal forming and cutting.
In the second part of his presentation, LVD showed us some of their best practices and methods they follow for sheet metal design, their association with with Bricsys, and explained some of the finer details of the forming operations.
LVD selected BricsCAD as their software because of its direct modeling capabilities and also use BricsCAD Communicator as a useful tool to read different file formats like SAT, STEP, ProE, SldPart etc.
We are shown a fairly detailed demo explaining the entire workflow to complete a sheet metal design.
