After the coffee break, the next presentation is from FIAN System, based in Morainvilliers, in France.

We are being demo'ed Escadesign, which is a niche product for design of stairs. They claim about 60000 stair designs per year and offer a variety of fine-tuned stairs. You can choose from traditional or contemporary design, balance the steps in your stairs, perform detailed design of risers and treads, stringers, posts and balustrades. An optimization module can even suggest the most optimum wood panel usage patterns, and there is a CAM component as well which generates all data for 3,4 and 5 axis milling. FIAN systems appear focussed on their steps and stairs and offer end-to-end solutions for stair design and fabrication support.
