The Bricsys 2013 International Conference is a week away and the CAD world is waiting eagerly to hear all that is new, cool and exciting.
I will be at the conference and blogging the event live on October 15th and 16th.
Day 3 (on October 17th) is a sales-partners-only event.
The yearly conference brings together the Bricsys management & developer teams, sales partners, third-party application developers, large corporate users and veteran bloggers from all over the world, and is also the time when Bricsys announces the next version of BricsCAD and the roadmap for the future.
The conference will be held at the Darmstadtium Science | Congress centre and is located in Darmstadt in the Rhine-Main region just outside Frankfurt in Germany.
The last conference was held in Amsterdam, The Netherlands in October 2012. To read my complete coverage of last year's conference, click here.
A small note about Darmstadt (info courtesy : http://www.darmstadtium.de)
With a population of about 150,000, Darmstadt is a city without skyscrapers, urban motorways or extensive office and administration blocks. Instead, the city’s face is still characterized by its history as a residence of the grand dukes of Hesse, to which many urban features bear witness: the baroque castle in the city centre opposite the new science and congress centre, for example, or the old town hall built during the Renaissance or the large number of parks and small palaces around the town. The city boasts a remarkably friendly atmosphere in pleasant surroundings. A congress in Darmstadt means a congress in a compact and manageable environment with a wealth of leisure activities.
