I am (still) not a big fan of the ribbonized user-interface that has been the norm in contemporary software design for some time now. The first GeoTools and CADPower ribbon was created not by us, but by one of our clients, using AutoCAD 2013, and for their own use.
The ribbonized UI is now part of GeoTools and CADPower since V13 and is included in the standard install.
