The Day 1 party at the Heineken Experience kicked off at 7PM and was a memorable experience. The walking tour of the brewery (now converted into a museum) takes you through several floors that offers a glimpse of the entire beer making process. Fermentation tanks, cooling silos, malt crushers, hops grinders - we saw them all.

Malted barley - which is crushed, mixed with water, boiled and the extracted syrup is mixed with hops and fermented with yeast to make beer.
The wort - malt syrup ready to go for primary fermentation.
And finally some vegetarian food for me after an hour of waiting!!
At the exit, this is the return gift we got to take home.
