PowerDimensions is an addon tool for BricsCAD that extends the power of standard dimensioning tools. This is still work-in-progress and expected to release sometime in future.
Created by Daniel Marcotte, the veteran programmer from Bricsys who is well known for his DocTabs, SQLite and ExtTools software, PowerDimensions allows additional capabilities like:
- Tolerances in different configurable styles
- Dimension labels and bounding boxes
- and many more........
Daniel showed some cool stuff, all of which are controlled using dialog boxes. More powerful and complex operations with dimensioning was shown using some SQL strings. Looks very powerful but may require a bit of understanding of complex codes and syntaxes.
