Gent, Belgium
I am in Gent today for some one-on-one meetings with Bricsys staff. Gent is where Bricsys is headquartered. After a short day in the Bricsys office, it was time to party again.
One of my very good friends from Germany and a long-standing client as well, Sven Soltmann and his wife, Fera from Berlin visited me in Gent in the evening. We dined at the BelgaQueen, which is undoubtedly one of Gent's finest dining places by the canal-side.
Designed by Antoine Pinto, it is housed in a former grain storehouse known locally as the ‘Spijker’, and overlooks the canal and bridges of the historical Graslei.
The BelgaQueen had been on my list of things-to-do while in Gent. It finally happened today.
Here are some pictures from the evening.
Belgian Rosé (From French: rosé, ‘pinkish’) wine. Tried first time. Turned out to be extremely good.
