Bricsys conducted a poll on their forum as well as on their Facebook page to get a feedback of what new features and enhancements that users most want out of Bricscad. Here are the wishlists along with the results showing how many people voted for the same.
Parallelization (use of multiple processor cores) 14 %
New raster engine 9 %
Printing of hidden line views 2 %
Page Setup manager 7 %
Hatch trim 20 %
Creation of Dynamic Blocks 18 %
Align a viewport in space (ALIGNSPACE) 3 %
Better and faster (3D) snapping 7 %

If you look at the above list, it is quite clear that most of the requests are those that are available in the latest version of AutoCAD. This is understandable as most users inevitably come from AutoCAD background.
Bricscad also has some features that are indigenous to it and not present in AutoCAD. In fact, I would like to see more such features in Bricscad which are inherently Bricscad and not just try and copy features from AutoCAD. In another post, I hope to write about some of those features that are exclusive to Bricscad.
